Think & Talk Edition

This lecture by Tomoki Hirano, who engages in research and practical work related to interactive appreciation, is another part of the “For Those Who Have Ever Wondered How to Appreciate Art” program.

Hirano will talk about questions such as how artworks are to be viewed, and what kind of attitude is appropriate when looking at works of art together with other people. There will also be some group work in which participants apply interactive appreciation techniques when looking at pieces of art, which allows them to experience being in a position of introducing artworks to people, and enjoy the pleasant notion of understanding art as an active viewer.
