Sound Mine: Hands-on Exhibition

Held in connection with the ”Sound Mine” concert, this exhibition showcases the creative process that resulted in this latest concert piece by Miyu Hosoi and Shun Ishiwaka.

The audiovisual contents of the exhibition combine video footage of various points inside the YCAM building with sounds that convey the respective locations’ specific acoustic properties. Through these displays, the visitor will gain some basic knowledge about the “characteristic acoustics of spaces” – one central aspect in the making of “Sound Mine.”
