This is the second session of a talk event held to commemorate the opening of the Reincarnation of Media Art exhibition.
In this session, we invite Toshie Kakinuma, researcher of ‘Notation for Sound and Body,’ and members of the Jifuku Toi Toi Preservation Society, who work to continue the practice of the ‘toi toi’ cultural transmission event in Yamaguchi City, to share their opinions on how intangible cultural properties, like music and folk customs, may be used as resources, or preserved and transmitted to future generations.
