The Korogaru Koen series as a creative common(s) ground

This is the latest instalment in the Korogaru Koen series of “chrildren’s playgrounds equipped with all sorts of media technology” that YCAM has been doing since 2012.

Speakers, microphones, lights and other media technological devices are embedded in uneven floor constructions inside the YCAM building, based on which visitors (children) can freely work out rules for entirely new kinds of play. The reproduced, updated version of the original 2012 “Korogaru Koen” that is featured here proposes viewpoints for developing the series further as one original, ongoing culture.

The nursery service is not available on days the library is closed.
