TECHTILE Workshop

This workshop revolves around the design of “tactile impressions” such as textures we touch, and images this evokes. It is held as part of “Yamaguchi’s Future Classes β” in connection with the current development of new educational programs at YCAM based on the results of recent research activities.

Participants are introduced to techniques of sharing sensations that are difficult to verbalize, using digital toolkits for recording, editing and sharing (in the form of digital data) “tactile impressions” co-developed with Keio University.
