Born September 13, 1969 in Hokkaido. Joined Denki Groove in 1991, and left in '99. Parallel with his work with Denki Groove, he has been active as a solo artist and released the albums "Crossover" (1995), "Take Off And Landing" and "The Sound of '70s" (both 1998). In 2001, he released his first solo album after his departure from Denki Groove, titled "Lovebeat", followed in 2002 by his first ever solo live appearance at the "Electraglide" festival at Makuhari Messe. He produced ACO's single "Yorokobi ni saku hana" and the band Supercar's single "Yumegiwa Last Boy", which was used as theme song for the movie "Ping-Pong", and created music for numerous advertising commercials among others. In summer 2009, his music for the movie "No Boys, No Cry" (starring Satoshi Tsumabuki and Ha Jeong-Woo) was released on the "No Boys, No Cry Original Sound Track". In April 2010 he formed the duo "Junji Ishiwatari & Yoshinori Sunahara" with former Supercar member Junji Ishiwatari, and released the single "Kamisama No Iu Toori" with guest vocalist Etsuko Yakushimaru (from Sotaisei Riron). In July of the same year, his solo single "subliminal" was released, followed in April 2011 by the release of "liminal", his first original album in ten years.
