Singer
A singer born in Osaka in 1972. Making her debut in 1995 with the single "Horizon", she caught the public's atten- tion with her unusual looks and unique singing voice. The single "Jonetsu (Passion)" released in 1996 and the album 11 received wide acclaim. In 2003, she broadened her range of activity, producing the music for the film Shara- sojyu and appearing as a regular guest on the NHK educa- tional television program, Do Re Mi no Terebi. The highly impromptu and thrilling live performances that were part of her national tour in 2004 were released as a live album.
