Born in Yokohama in 1974. BA in literature at Waseda University and MA in theatre and film arts at the university’s Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Has been working with PARC – Japan Center, Pacific Basin Arts Communication after archival work at the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum, technical work with Gekidan Kaitaisha and videomaking for movements for contingent workers’ labor union and the abolition of nuclear weapons. The director of Sound Live Tokyo from 2014 to 2016. The program officer of TPAM – Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama since 2017. Performer and book designer in performance encyclopaedia by Public Recordings (OzAsia / Australian Theatre Forum, Adelaide, 2017). Mentor for 釈迦ヶ池 – Der Buddha-Teich by Jun Tsutsui / dracom (FFT, Düsseldorf, 2019). Dramaturge for Ho Tzu Nyen’s Hotel Aporia (Aichi Triennale, Toyota, 2019) and Voice of Void (in collaboration with Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media, 2021).
