Harry Akligoh is an M.Phil. candidate in Molecular Medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST. He’s the co-founder of the Hive Biolab at Kumasi Hive where he works with the team as a technical associate. He works closely with the Open Bioeconomy Lab as a researcher focusing on producing enzymes locally for use in clinical molecular diagnosis in Ghanaian Diagnostic laboratories and for other molecular applications in education and research. Harry deploys his expertise in biology leveraging open innovations to create open spaces like the Hive Biolab to rethink and reimagine how research can be done to solve local community problems in his native country, Ghana.
