Born in 1982 in Yamaguchi, Japan.
Yohei attended Tokyo University of Technology’s Department of Information Networks, and studied in-depth from the basic of computer engineering and its practical use.
Yohei began his career as a system engineer (SE) at an IT firm in Tokyo after finishing his study. He worked on mainframe computer related duties such as developing the backbone system for local governments, then transferred to work at an assignee company in Yamaguchi in 2006. He continued to serve as SE and helped developing a software used to Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Institute (SEMI).
Yohei left the company as he expected to get more involved in the development of the system and software that he himself uses, and in October 2008, he joined the staff team of YCAM. He is responsible for system and network planning for all the YCAM’s exhibitions and performances, as well as developing the software required in artwork production, and overseeing development, maintenance, and administration of networks in YCAM. With infrastructure as well as project management aspect in consideration, he has been exploring the way to build with limited resources the best environment for production and operation.
