Born in 1988 in Gifu, Japan.
Mitsuhito studied at School of Information Science and Technology, Chukyo University. While he studied information system science with an emphasis on network technology, he sought the other possibilities of the role the human-computer interface could have. After earning his degree, he went on to Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) and has been researching the form of expression that utilizes digital fabrication tools applying rapid-prototyping techniques.
After working as an educator assistant at YCAM in 2013 while still being a student, Mitsuhito joined the staff team in October 2014. He has been responsible for the education programs, such as organizing original workshops and “Korogaru Koen Park” series, and involved in the research and development project that intends to make better use of the local resources. By sharing the knowledge gained from prototyping and proof of concept, which are the required research processes they go through before carrying out the exhibitions and workshops, and through his collegiate research he conducts alongside, he seeks the ways how the YCAM-lead co-created community should function.
